At least 60 members of the federal government job creation scheme for youths, N-Power initiatives have been shortlisted to be penalised for various anti-work criminal activities. Presidential aide on job creation, Mr Afolabi Imoukhuede revealed.
According to the Presidential aide some members of the N-Power scheme have been collecting the monthly stipend of #30,000 without showing up at their various places of deployment. He however vowed that about 60 of them have been identified from across the state for punishment with the hope that it serves as example for others.
Mr Afolabi further alleged that about 363 members of the scheme in Kwara state are serving the scheme as ghost-volunteers. He also warned those facing payment challenges to rectify their payment issues before july ending or face automatic removal from the scheme.
