It was reported yesterday that Acting President Yemi Osinbajo took an hour trip to meet with his boss, President Muhammadu Buhari in London where he is taking medical check up. He was also reported to be back to the country immediately after chatting with the President on issues relating the state of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Acting President Osinbajo left Nigeria to United Kingdom after attending a Presidential Business Forum meeting yesterday, met with the president and immediately fly back to the country as expected. Excerpt of his discussion with the President were alighted. He spoke about President Buhari's state of health, his coming back and broad range of issues affecting the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

We had a very good time, we had a very good conversation on wide ranging issues and he is in very good spirit, he is recuperating very quickly. We had very long conversation, we spoke for well over an hour and his humour is all there. He is doing well and he is recuperating.
Speaking about President Buhari's return and 90 days constitutional timeframe for automatic impeachment, Acting President Osinbajo spoke further saying No no. Deadlines aren't a very good thing but as I said he is recuperating fast, we are expecting him very shortly. When asked if they discussed state of the nation relating changing in some federal para s tata, Acting President Osinbajo said Wide range of discussion, I really can't go into specifics of all of the discussions we had.
Acting President Osinbajo however stated he did not discussed issues relating swearing in newly approved ministers with his boss. He said "Well, I am not in a position to say exactly, I do not have a date in mind but I'm sure very very soon we will do that.
President Muhammadu Buhari had written to the House of Assembly on May 5th, 2017 to proceed on an indeterminate medical follow up. He noted in the letter that the period of the medical trip would only be determined by his doctors. This would be second time he is spending more than 50 days out of the country on medical vacation after he proceeded on a medical trip in January 2017.
